Cargill partners with BinSentry to optimize Brazil's animal feed supply chain

AI-powered technology set to increase efficiency and profits for Brazilian pork and poultry producers.

A Canadian ag-tech company is making waves in the global livestock industry as Kitchener, Ont.-based BinSentry teams up with Cargill to bring its cutting-edge AI-powered feed management technology to Brazil. The partnership, formalized this week, will see Cargill become the exclusive distributor of BinSentry’s smart sensor platform in the country, helping pork and poultry producers streamline operations, reduce waste, and boost profits.

BinSentry has earned a reputation as a leader in precision feed monitoring, with its rugged, solar-powered sensors already tracking feed levels in more than 25,000 bins across Canada and the United States. The company’s proprietary technology delivers 99% accuracy in feed inventory management, reducing costly out-of-feed events and eliminating the risks associated with manual checks.

“Intelligent process automation is the new frontier in animal production,” said BinSentry CEO Ben Allen. “With feed representing 60% to 70% of total production costs, producers stand to gain significant efficiency and cost savings through AI-powered supply chain management.”
