Celebrating milestones

A strong agenda including top speakers and important topics in farm animal care will be featured at the upcoming Alberta Farm Animal Care (AFAC) Livestock Care Conference, March 14-15, 2018, in Olds, Alta.

World renowned animal care expert Dr. Temple Grandin headlines a robust agenda moderated by Dianne Finstad. The conference covers a variety of topics relevant for producers, industry and others with an interest in farm animal care, including a strong focus on how farm animal care has evolved and where it is headed.

“This year’s Livestock Care Conference is very special for AFAC as we reflect on the progress of the past 25 years and also look forward to continuing to build a strong future,” says Greg Bowie, Chair of AFAC. “Farm animal care is what we do as producers and livestock industries. The annual Livestock Care Conference is a longstanding conference hosted by AFAC that provides a forum for education and interaction among farm animal care stakeholders. “We are looking forward to an outstanding event,” says Annemarie Pedersen, Executive Director of AFAC.
